Carlos Israel Villarreal is a Texas based Fine Artist and Filmmaker whose credits span narrative, documentary, commercial, magazine and music video production. His work has appeared in Rolling Stone, PBS and on MTV and his films have screened at festivals both nationally and internationally. He studied acting at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City, holds a BA in Communication with an emphasis in Media Production and an MFA in Studio Art/Photography from Texas A&M Corpus Christi. He is a Lecturer, teaching classes in Design, Art History, Media and Graphic Design at Texas A&M University Kingsville.
